Synagogue - Solar Ner Tamid

Bright Power performed an audit of all lighting fixtures at Congregation B'nai Jeshurun on West 88th Street in Manhattan. The space operates as a place of worship and also as an events space.
In addition to lighting upgrades, the congregation decided to install a solar-powered Ner Tamid (eternal light) for their sanctuary. A small array of solar panels was installed on the roof of the building. In order to ensure uninterrupted solar power for the Ner Tamid, Bright Power engineers designed the system using a high efficiency LED lamp and oversized electricity storage capacity.
