Wind turbines generate electricity by converting the rotation of turbine blades into electrical current by means of an electrical generator. Wind farms, consisting of many large wind turbines, supply power to electrical grids. Smaller individual turbines can supply power directly to buildings, either connected to the electric grid or in rural grid-isolated locations. Wind turbines, particularly in combination with solar panels, batteries, and/or a biofuel generator, can be an integral part of a robust off-grid power system.
Bright Power performs feasibility studies for interested building owners and developers to assess suitability of site, sizing, technical requirements, interconnection, and other issues related to developing wind power projects.
