Angel’s Bakery is a muffin, cake, and cookie bakery located in north Brooklyn, NY. The facility's equipment includes industrial systems such as ovens, air compressors, and fluorescent lighting as well as office equipment such as computers, vending machines, and security camera monitors.

Bright Power outfitted the refrigeration compressor with refrigeration control devices in order to reduce its energy consumption while maintaining refrigeration levels. New, high-efficiency fluorescent lighting was installed throughout the facility, with occupancy sensors on the lighting for certain rooms and on vending machines. Television and computer monitors were replaced with more efficient flat-screen LCD monitors.

Smart Financing: The total cost of the efficiency upgrades had a payback of approximately 3 years. Angel’s Bakery received a North Brooklyn Energy Grant from NYIRN (NY Industrial Retention Network) that covered the entire cost of improvements to the facility.
