Renewable energy comes from sunlight, wind, water, and geothermal energy - resources that are regenerative or for all practical purposes cannot be depleted. Systems that harness renewable energy are often installed on individual buildings for the use of the occupants of that building. Large renewable energy systems can also generate power that can be fed directly into the electric grid.

The energy we use everyday comes from a variety of sources, many of which are harmful to the environment. Every time you flip on a light switch, you are purchasing and supporting non-renewable energy. Conventional energy is reliant on fuels from unstable regions of the world that pollute the air we breathe and contribute to global climate change.
