The Association of Energy Engineers is a membership organization and gateway for information on the fields of energy efficiency, energy services, deregulation, facility management, plant engineering, and environmental compliance. We are also members of the New York Chapter.
The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) is the Northeast’s leading organization of professionals and concerned citizens working in sustainable energy and whole systems thinking.
The New York Solar Energy Industries Association (NYSEIA) is a non-profit membership and trade association dedicated to advancing solar energy use in New York State.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders from every sector of the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. This is the organization that created and continues to administer the LEED certification. We are also members of the New York Chapter.

It increases the educational impact of Earth Day by creating a full week of educational preparation, learning, and activities in K-12 classrooms, nature centers, zoos, museums, and aquariums. New York Sun Works, creator of the Science Barge, a sustainable urban farm powered by solar, wind, and biofuels, and irrigated by rainwater and purified riverwater. On the barge, New York Sun Works grows fresh fruit and vegetables using recirculating hydroponics. Solar One, the City's first solar-powered “Green Energy, Arts, and Education Center,” inspires New Yorkers to become environmentally responsible city dwellers.

GreenHomeNYC aims to be a hub of resources for small building owners, to promote the understanding of green building issues, and to connect building owners with local green building service and materials providers.
Green Maps are locally created maps that chart the natural and cultural environment, highlighting green living resources. Green Maps cultivate citizen participation and community sustainability in hundreds of places around the world.
