The Wilson Ave Garage is a 55,472-square-foot motors building in Newark’s East Ward that serves the City of Newark's Engineering Department.

Weston Solutions, Inc. partnered with the City of Newark and Wilson Avenue Realty, the property owner, to install a $1.3 million 185-kilowatt system.  Bright Power provided Weston Solutions with the design for the installation.

The installation has 806 photovoltaic panels which will provide 80 percent of the building’s power.  In 2007, Wilson Avenue Municipal Garage used approximately 290,024 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity.  The installation of solar panels is estimated to reduce CO₂ emissions by 179 tons.
